Manasvi Vashist, who has been part of TV shows Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 and Imlie, is currently seen in the fourth season of the series Campus Beats. He portrays Ahaan, a college student who is also a social media sensation. He shares, “I’ve always wanted to play a college student, so when Ahaan was offered to me, I was thrilled. Ahaan’s life revolves around his followers and social media, but beneath that facade, his story is filled with unexpected twists. The dynamics of friendships and the drama felt so relatable. It’s a journey through challenges, bonds, and self-discovery — a narrative many will resonate with.”

While playing a social media influencer was easy, the real challenge lay in embodying Ahaan’s dancing skills. Manasvi reveals, “I’ve never been much of a dancer, so I had to start from scratch. It was tough at first, but I pushed myself to ensure the character felt authentic.”

Shot in Mumbai and Pune, the series brought back memories of his own college days at Kurukshetra University in Haryana, where he studied engineering. He shares, “The entire experience was like reliving my college life. From the friendships to the drama, it reminded me of those incredible years. I completed my engineering in 2013 and shooting for this show truly felt like stepping into a time machine. It made me reflect on how those carefree days shaped who I am today. Except this time, there were no exams to worry about — just rehearsals and camera angles (laughs!).”

Ask him if he would change anything about his past college life, and he responds, “I’d spend less time cramming and more time making memories—because, trust me, no one asks about your GPA after college. Those years are about living in the moment.”

Manasvi took a break from the small screen after his stint in Imlie. During this hiatus, he focused on honing his craft. Speaking about the decision, he says, “I needed to step back and recharge. During this time, I attended acting workshops and worked on improving my skills. It was essential for me to prepare for opportunities in OTT and films, and that preparation led me to Campus Beats. My goal now is to focus more on OTT projects, as every character and story offers an actor a chance to explore something new. However, that doesn’t mean I’ve closed the door on television. If an exciting opportunity comes my way, I’ll definitely take it up.”
