Manoj Bajpayee confirms The Family Man Season 4; reveals he struggles to understand Gen Z slang, 'Nihayati aalsi log'

Manoj Bajpayee has returned as Srikant Tiwari in the much-awaited The Family Man Season 3, which premiered on November 21, 2025, on Amazon Prime Video. Since its release, the spy-thriller has received glowing reviews from both critics and the audience. Amid the excitement, the actor has now confirmed that the show will indeed return with Season 4.

The actor recently interacted with fans during a fun session on Twitter. While replying to viewer questions, Manoj subtly—and then very clearly—confirmed Season 4.

A fan asked him, “Bro, I double-checked... even triple-checked. Where is Episode 8 in The Family Man S3?”

To this, Manoj replied, “Ab sab 4th season mein! Maar kaat khallas!!”

When fans expressed confusion over cliffhangers, he added, “Sabka jawab 4th season mein hoga! Jaldi milte hain!”

This was enough to send fans into a frenzy, eagerly awaiting Srikant Tiwari’s next chapter.

Manoj Bajpayee admits he can’t keep up with Gen Z slang

While fans love watching Srikant Tiwari handle high-risk missions and chaotic family life, Manoj Bajpayee says he struggles with one unexpected challenge in real life — communicating with Gen Z.

During an interview with Yuva, the actor revealed how difficult it is for him to understand modern slang. He even asked the host for meanings of words like “Pookie” and “Ssup,” and hilariously failed to decode “Rizz.”




Calling Gen Z “a lazy lot,” Manoj said, “Gen Z ke saath mera communication isliye establish nahi ho pa raha kyunki unke slang samajh nahi aa rahe. Abhi ek video banaya ‘Pookie’ ka, usme koi ribbon laga diya. What does it mean? What is Pookie? ‘Ssup’ kya hota hai? Basically lazy log hain jo poora sentence nahi bolte. ‘Rizz’ matlab zing, X-factor. He’s got quite a rizz. Nihayati aalsi log, bade lazy log hain.”

Earlier, Manoj was seen turning into a cute “Pookie dad” in a promo video, where Srikant Tiwari struggles to decode Gen Z lingo as his kids, Dhriti (Ashlesha Thakur) and Atharv (Vedant Sinha), hand him a script full of slang. Reading it, he hilariously remarked, “Isme main papa kam Paris zyada lag raha hoon, yaar.”



The Family Man 3 Season 3 brings back fan favourites Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Gul Panag. New additions to the series include Nimrat Kaur and Jaideep Ahlawat. The show has been getting rave reviews, though many fans also felt that this season is disappointing and not as good as the earlier two seasons. Vijay Sethupathi's cameo though has been the talk of the town with the scene going viral on the internet.
