‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’: Emraan Hashmi praises his love story with Raghav Juyal as ‘The Best’ amidst graffiti mural tribute

Aryan Khan’s show ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ has been streaming on OTT for nearly three weeks now, steadily building its audience. Among the buzz surrounding the series, Emraan Hashmi’s unexpected cameo has captured widespread attention online. To celebrate this excitement, Netflix recently released a reel showcasing a lively graffiti mural inspired by Emraan’s character in the show. The artwork features the phrase, “Akha Bollywood ek taraf, Emraan Hashmi ek taraf (All of Bollywood on one side, Emraan Hashmi on the other),” which is a popular line from Raghav Juyal’s character, a passionate Emraan admirer.

Emraan shares his thoughts on the reel, commenting, “The best love story I have been part of, thank you.” This perfectly captures the admiration Raghav’s character feels for Emraan in the series. For those unfamiliar, Raghav becomes overwhelmingly excited upon meeting Emraan’s character, who plays an intimacy coordinator in the third episode. The scene becomes especially memorable when Raghav surprises Emraan by singing “Kaho Na Kaho” from ‘Murder’.



Behind the scenes: Improvised viral scene
In a candid conversation with NDTV, Raghav revealed that the memorable scene was improvised at the last minute. He mentioned that there is now a separate fan base for that specific scene, which was not originally written in the script. Both he and Aryan were very tense about what to do when Emraan entered. Then Aryan suddenly suggested that he should sing a song. They debated between "Bheege Honth Tere" and "Kaho Na Kaho," finally choosing the latter due to its Arabic portions, which gave Raghav more scope to perform.


Emraan Hashmi’s recent projects and upcoming sequel
Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi recently starred alongside Pawan Kalyan in the Telugu film ‘They Call Him OG’. He is now preparing for a major comeback with the much-awaited sequel to his cult romantic film ‘Awarapan’. Titled ‘Awarapan 2’, the film is co-written by Bilal Siddique, who also co-wrote ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’, and it is set for release on April 3, 2026. The sequel promises to continue the emotional journey that made the original film a fan favorite.
