'The Family Man 3': Manoj Bajpayee starts shooting for the new season? Says 'operation underway'

Manoj Bajpayee, the National Award-winning actor, has started filming the third season of the hit spy action thriller ‘The Family Man’, joining the show’s six-year milestone. To celebrate the anniversary, the actor posted several photos from the first season on Instagram, which originally released in 2018.

Sharing several pictures on Instagram, Bajpayee wrote, “6 years since #TheFamilyMan Season 1 dropped and became a cult classic. Season 3? Bas samajh lo, operation underway…"



Directors confirm filming has started

Directors Raj and DK confirmed that filming for ‘The Family Man Season 3’ has started by posting photos of the clapboard on their official Instagram account. In the caption, they wrote, “From one clapboard to three… The Family Man has been multitasking. And so are we :). Thank you for all the love, as you binged, laughed, memed and argued. You made #TheFamilyMan your own!".

‘The Family Man’ tells the story of Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man who secretly works as an intelligence officer for TASC, part of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The show stars actors like Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, and Neeraj Madhav. Samantha Ruth Prabhu joined the second season as the main villain, making her digital debut, with some episodes directed by Suparn S. Verma. In Season 2, Srikant left his job to focus on his family but had to return when a new enemy appeared. He worked to stop a secret plan between an old enemy and a group of foreign fighters.

Meanwhile, Manoj recently starred in ‘Inspector Zende’, playing the main role. Jim Sarbh plays Carl Bhojraj, a character based on the famous serial killer Charles Sobhraj. The show also features Sachin Khedekar, Girija Oak, and Bhalchandra Kadam. Bajpayee recently acted in ‘Jugnuma’, directed by Raam Reddy. The movie is set in the late 1980s Indian Himalayas and follows Dev, who finds burnt trees in his fruit orchard. Even though he tries to stop the fires, they keep happening, and Dev starts to see himself and his family differently.
