South Korean actor Kim Seon Ho is one of the new faces in the entertainment industry who has garnered massive attention within only a few years post his successful debut. Having created a niche for himself on the small screen, the actor has come a long way and was on the verge of a film career. However, the actor recently hit headlines for all the wrong reasons that can pose as a major threat to his career. Born on May 8, 1986, Kim Seon Ho completed his studies at the prestigious Seoul Institute of the Arts with a degree from the Department of Broadcasting and Entertainment. Later, to pursue his passion for acting, he joined a theatre group in college. In 2009, he starred in his first play and went on to try his luck in broadway shows. He said in an interview with Elle, “I wanted to act but didn’t know how to start, so I decided to take a six-month break. One day, I met a junior of mine who was already in the scene and he asked why I hadn’t thought of stage acting when I love theatre so much. So, I thought, ‘Oh yeah? Should I give it a go?’”

Much later, after minor success in theatre, he made his official television debut in KBS2’s drama ‘Good Manager’ after producer Lee Eun Jin suggested his name based on his popular play, ‘Closer.’ He went on to star in multiple K-dramas, such as ‘Strongest Deliveryman’, ‘Two Cops’, ‘You Drive Me Crazy’, ‘Welcome To Waikiki 2’ and more.

While success didn’t come knocking immediately, after a gap of almost a year, the actor starred in ‘Star Up’ co-starring Bae Suzy. This performance not only made him an overnight star but also fetched him several nominations. Kim Seon Ho recently appeared in ‘HomeTown Cha-Cha-Cha’ with Shin Min-A, which also topped the rating charts.

Kim Seon Ho’s scandalous past came to light when an online post in the Korean online community Nate Pann posted speculations about him, based on a post that read, “I am disclosing actor K’s two-faced and shameless true nature”. Without revealing the name of the actor initially, the user called him a “piece of trash without the slightest conscience or sense of guilt” and alleged that she was forced to have an abortion when pregnant with actor K’s child. It also claimed that actor K’s behaviour changed towards her post abortion. While there was no confirmation on the identity of actor K, speculations pointed towards Kim Seon Ho after a YouTube influencer made claims. Soon after this, the actor accepted all allegations by his ex-girlfriend and also issued an apology.
