Jang Ki Yong who is currently enlisted in the mandatory army service, recently appeared in a special segment of
SBS
’s ‘2 O'Clock Escape Cultwo Show’ and made a revelation about Song Hye Kyo extending her support towards him with a surprise visit.
In the show, Jang Ki Yong was seen donning the uniform next to
EXO
’s Chanyeol and ONF’s Hyojin as they opened up about their upcoming military musical ‘Blue Helmet’. He went on to reveal that he filmed for his recent drama ‘Now, We Are Breaking Up’ with Song Hye Kyo till the last moment before joining the army in August last year.
He said, “I filmed the drama up until four days before my enlistment. I watched what we’d filmed a month after I arrived at my military unit, and maybe it was because we had to film quickly because of my enlistment, but it felt a bit awkward.”
When asked about Song Hye Kyo visiting him in the military service, Jang Ki Yong quickly replied, “Yes, she has. The entire ‘Now We Are Breaking Up’ team came to see me. It really gave me a lot of strength.”
Meanwhile on the work front, Jang Ki Yong starrer ‘Blue Helmet’ will premier on 18 March and will be available for a watch at the D-Cube Arts Center in Seoul,
