Kim Yoo Jung stuns in new stills as the ice-cold CEO of 'My Demon'

‘My Demon’ drama has unveiled intriguing new images of Kim Yoo Jung in her role as Do Do Hee. In this upcoming fantasy rom-com, Do Do Hee, a powerful and independent chaebol heiress from the Mirae Group, who enters into a contractual marriage with Jung Gu Won, a demon who has lost his powers.


Do Do Hee, despite her wealth and influence, has learned to trust no one due to her early struggles and a harsh upbringing. She possesses a cold-hearted demeanour, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. However, her life takes a significant turn when she forms a contract with the demon Gu Won, and the drama explores whether Gu Won will be the ‘saviour’ Do Hee needs, as his name suggests.


The newly released stills of Kim Yoo Jung in the role of Do Do Hee capture her elegance and cold charisma as the CEO of Mirae Group's subsidiary, Mirae F&B. Her character appears professional and confident as she adeptly handles her responsibilities. Having endured being treated as an outsider among the Mirae Group's elite, she has become a workaholic CEO who is dedicated to her work. Even at a public event, she exudes a haughty attitude, seemingly unfazed by those attempting to greet her. Another still shows her on a podium, radiating confidence with a proud smile.


Kim Yoo Jung shared her reasons for taking on this project, emphasising her fascination with the story, characters, and the chemistry between Do Do Hee and Jung Gu Won. She explained that Do Do Hee, seemingly cynical and aloof on the outside, is a character who is, in fact, lonely, and she worked diligently to convey the various ways in which Do Hee shields herself from the world.


Describing Do Do Hee's journey as a "blessing in disguise", Kim Yoo Jung highlighted the numerous events that follow her encounter with Gu Won. She encouraged the audience to tune in to find out why she chose this particular phrase for her character.


SBS's ’My Demon’ is set to premiere on November 24th at 10 pm KST, promising viewers a captivating blend of fantasy, romance, and comedy.
