Singer-actor Krystal Jung recently revisited a funny but dramatic memory from her early acting days involving her sister Jessica and an extremely expensive fashion blunder on set. What began as a simple wardrobe choice during filming turned into a family story fans still laugh about. The incident resurfaced when Krystal shared key moments from her personal fashion journey and how one borrowed designer bag created unexpected chaos at home.
A designer bag meets disaster on set
On December 1, Krystal appeared in a video shared on the official YouTube channel of Harper’s Bazaar Korea, where she looked back at her fashion evolution through photos from her childhood and acting career. While discussing her role as a wealthy heiress in The Heirs, she revealed how she borrowed a luxury red Chanel bag from her sister Jessica for one scene.
The trouble began when Krystal’s co-star, Kim Woo Bin ended up throwing the bag onto the floor as part of the scene. Krystal had no idea this detail was included in the shot and only realized it later when Jessica watched the episode.
“I played a chaebol daughter who always had to be dressed in luxury brands, so I looked to Gossip Girl for references. I borrowed a luxury bag from my sister for filming, and of all scenes, it ended up being used in a scene where someone throws my bag onto the floor. My sister was so angry when she saw that scene,” she recalled.
Where they are now in life and work
Professionally, Krystal Jung is currently busy filming the upcoming tvN drama ‘How to Become a Building Owner in Korea’, which is set to release in 2026.
Meanwhile, Kim Woo Bin recently made headlines for a milestone in his personal life. He and longtime partner Shin Min Ah are set to get married in a private ceremony on December 20, 2025, in Seoul. Their agency, AM Entertainment, confirmed the news last month.
The wedding will reportedly take place at the luxurious Shilla Hotel, with only close family and friends in attendance. The couple has been together since 2014 after meeting during a commercial shoot, making their wedding the end of a decade-long love story.
