might soon be part of a new Webtoon-based series, '
Hunting Dogs
' (literal translation).
The news came to light on Wednesday when Lee Do Hyun's agency confirmed to Korean media that the actor has indeed received a casting proposal. In the statement, the actor's reps confirmed that he has been offered a role in 'Hunting Dogs,' and this is just one of the various other projects he is presently looking at.
Kwak Dong Yeon's reps also confirmed the reports saying that it one of the undertakings the actor is currently thinking about.
According to reports, the series 'Hunting Dogs' revolves around three men on the hunt for money. However, things take a turn when they cross paths because of their debts. Further on, while searching for a solution to their problem, the trio encounters several hurdles.
Director Kim Joo Hwan, the creative mind behind movies like 'Midnight Runners' and 'The Divine Fury,' will helm this 8-episode drama. The series is expected to start filming in the second half of 2021.
Lee Do Hyun is currently acting in the KBS drama, 'Youth of May' and is in talks with Im Soo Jung for a drama. The actor has been dazzling the crowd with his charming skills in dramas, namely, 'Inn Del Luna' and '18 Again' that is rapidly climbing the popularity charts.
On the other hand, actor and musician Kwak Dong Yeon recently got featured in the movie 'Vincenzo' and is currently working on the film '6/45'. He has gotten tons of appreciation for his extraordinary acting abilities in his past projects.
