Actress Han Ji Hyun, known for her roles in ‘Face Me’, ‘Cheer Up’, and ‘The Penthouse’ franchise, recently opened up about her first impressions of co-star Park Jeong Min from the sets of ‘The Ugly’. She discussed how she initially felt “scared” and “intimidated” by him.
Han Ji Hyun was terrified of Park Jeong Min
Park Jeong Min, known for his role in ‘The 8 Show’, will be starring alongside Han Ju Hyun, in the upcoming mystery-thriller film ‘The Ugly’. As per reports from Insight, the actors recently sat down for a conference, where Ji Hyun confessed that she was scared of Jeong Min at first glance, citing how “easily irritated he got”.
She then shared that they finally had a conversation after work, which changed her perception. She added, “I was scared, but after filming that evening, we talked and I asked him if he could help me out, and he did”.
Jeong Min candidly shared that there has not been one moment where he had been irritated with the actress, to which she agreed and hilariously shared that, “That’s right. He’s never been irritated with me. He just looks irritated”.
About their collaborative project ‘The Ugly’
The upcoming mystery-thriller film is slated for theatrical release on September 11 next month. It boasts a star cast that includes Park Jeon Min, Han Ji Hyun, Kwon Hae Yo, Shin Hyun Been, Im Sung Jae, and many others.
The premise of the film follows the story of Im Dong Hwan, who lives with his visually impaired seal craftsman father. One day, they suddenly receive a phone call that turns their worlds upside down. The mortal remains of his mother, who went missing almost 40 years ago, have been found. With a possible murder suspect, Dong Hwan sets out on a journey of his own to discover the truth behind his mother’s demise. He takes on the help of PD Kim Su Jin, who had been accompanying him, in order to work on a documentary on his father.
