'Wonderful World' teases Cha Eun Woo's character's intriguing backstory in new stills

‘Wonderful World’ fans are in for an emotional rollercoaster as the drama shares new stills featuring ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo ahead of tonight's much-awaited episode. This emotional thriller is about Eun Soo Hyun, portrayed by Kim Nam Joo, a woman seeking revenge following the tragic loss of her son. Enter Kwon Sun Yool, played by Cha Eun Woo, whose life takes an unexpected turn after dropping out of medical school and becoming entangled with Eun Soo Hyun.

In previous episodes, audiences were introduced to Cha Eun Woo's character, Kwon Sun Yool, whose life is rocked by the devastating loss of his family in a fire. By day, Sun Yool toils at a junkyard, but by night, he goes on secret missions for Kim Joon, played by Park Hyuk Kwon, searching through buildings to gather incriminating evidence against Kim Joon's political adversaries.



The newly released stills offer a glimpse into Sun Yool's intense journey. Standing by a stream, his gaze fixated on the water, Sun Yool appears determined and focused as he searches desperately for something amidst the interference of law enforcement. Despite his soaked clothes and the presence of police, Sun Yool remains undeterred, combing through the bushes.

The production team teased viewers, saying, “Starting from the third episode, Kwon Sun Yool’s hidden story will unfold one by one. Please anticipate the mysterious narrative and the pain hidden within the rugged and dark character of Kwon Sun Yool, as well as his relationship with Eun Soo Hyun”. Meanwhile, the next episode of ‘Wonderful World’ airs tonight at 9:50 p.m. KST.
