'Nasrallah's son-in-law killed in Israeli raid in Damascus,' report claims
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his deep condolences following the deaths of Israeli soldiers in combat operations in Lebanon on Wednesday. Addressing the nation, Netanyahu paid tribute to the soldiers, calling them "heroes" and emphasizing the unity and resilience of the Israeli people in the face of ongoing conflict."I would like to send my condolences from the bottom of my heart to the families of our heroes who fell today in Lebanon," Netanyahu said. "The name will rise their blood. May their memory be blessed."The Israeli military confirmed that eight soldiers were killed during combat with Hezbollah forces, marking the first casualties since the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) crossed the border into Lebanon earlier this week.Netanyahu framed the conflict as part of a broader battle against what he described as "Iran's axis of evil," which he said aims to destroy Israel. "We are in the middle of a tough war against Iran's axis of evil, which seeks to destroy us. This will not happen—because we will stand together, and with God's help—we will win together," he declared.Stay with TOI for latest updates:
