One X user joked, "they are going to marry in the Amazon and have their honeymoon in Paris," while were amused saying that the pictures could make a wedding album. Macron visited Brazil for a three-day trip to strengthen bilateral ties, especially focusing on environmental concerns neglected during the Bolsonaro administration. He arrived in Belem, an Amazonian city set to host COP30 in 2025. Macron met with former President Lula, pledging joint efforts to halt Amazon deforestation by 2030. The two Presidents also attended a ceremony for launch of a submarine project, symbolizing collaboration between France and Brazil in defense and technology. (Photo: AFP)
