Her claims came just as an old and emotional video of Charlie Kirk with his then-fiancée, Erika, started trending again on social media. The clip comes from The Charlie Kirk Show. It shows Charlie Kirk walking into a room to interview Erika Kirk. As soon as he sits close to her, she blushes, laughs, and admits she is unable to focus.

“I’m not going to be able to focus, sitting this close to him,” Erika says in the video. “I’m just gonna be staring at you [Charlie].”




Charlie Kirk then smiles and tries to continue the interview. Erika later calls the moment “mortifying” and struggles to introduce herself. The short video has now crossed 3.7 million views on X, formerly Twitter, with many users calling it a real and honest moment between the couple. At the same time, Candace Owens shared posts on X accusing Erika Kirk of allowing a Turning Point USA livestream that pushed conspiracy theories about Charlie Kirk’s death. Candace Owens also claimed that Erika Kirk approved a letter linked to those theories. One widely shared post came from the X account run by Max Nordau.

Candace Owens pointed to odd details, including people in maroon shirts and claims of foreign tracking. However, she did not provide any verified evidence to support these claims.

Charlie Kirk was shot and killed on September 10 at Utah Valley University, according to police records. Authorities later arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, who now faces charges for the shooting.

The FBI stated clearly that Robinson acted alone. Investigators said his actions were driven by anger toward Charlie Kirk’s political views. The FBI also confirmed there were no foreign connections and no insider involvement, directly contradicting the claims shared online.

Since the incident, Erika Kirk has focused on forgiveness and leadership. She has served as Turning Point USA CEO since 2022 and has avoided making aggressive public claims about the case.

Earlier this week, Erika Kirk shared another personal video on social media. It showed Charlie Kirk telling their daughter the story of how he met Erika at Bill’s Burgers in New York City in 2018.

“Story time: We’re at Bill’s Burgers in New York City, and right near this very table was the first time Dada met Mama,” Charlie Kirk says in the clip. The video received nearly 66 million views and more than 4.7 million likes. Erika Kirk captioned it, “my favorite love story.”

Charlie Kirk and Erika Kirk later married in 2021. As the old interview clip spreads, many online say it shows a loving moment, even as public debate around Candace Owens’ claims continues.
