Georgia election results: Sweet revenge for Kamala against Trump and his cronies
WASHINGTON: The soul of Black voters long suppressed in America found utterance in Georgia on Tuesday night as they delivered victory to Democratic candidates in two Senate run-off elections, enabling a trifecta for the party - control of the White House and the bicameral legislature.
At the heart of the black political renaissance are two women, vice-president elect Kamala Harris and voting rights activist
For Kamala, the country's first female vice-president elect and that too of Black and Indian heritage, the election of Raphael Warnock and
It is also payback against a white male dominated chamber that anointed itself the world's greatest deliberative body but was an embodiment of America's racist and sexist politics that surfaced even during Georgia campaign. She will now preside over it and will wield the tie-breaker vote in a chamber deadlocked at 50-50.
In one of the ugliest moments during the campaign, incumbent Republican Senator and Trump flunkey David Purdue distorted and mangled Kamala name in an infantile attempt to please a graceless President whose go-to weapon against women of color is derision and scorn.

Warnock is only the 11th black Senator in the country's and the chamber's 243-year history (Kamala Harris was the 10th). He is also the first Black Senator from Georgia and the first Black Democratic Senator from the South.
Kamala may not be done yet. She will now wield enormous influence over Senate committee chairmanships, including that of the powerful judiciary committee and the appointment of the Attorney General.
In one of the more lightning moments during the Presidential election, Trump had taunted Kamala when she dropped out of the race, tweeting, "Too bad. We will miss you Kamala!"
"Don’t worry, Mr. President. I’ll see you at your trial," she had responded.

But I think we need to be very specific about how we pray. We should pray like Psalms 109:8 says. It says, 'Let his days be few, and let another have his office.'"Kamala may not be done yet. Kamala has done more harm to racial harmony than any hate group ever could. See support for BLM or her baseless claims of personal offense. Chandadan, as you decry racism and sexism from the American Oval Office, you should certainly provide evidence instead of echoing the liberal free-speech antagonists known as the American media.Read allPost comment
