What is DOGE?
The Department of Government Efficiency, an informal advisory board, is spearheaded by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, two billionaires who have pledged to drastically reduce the size of the federal government. Musk has already outlined ambitious plans to shrink the number of federal agencies from over 400 to just 99.
