Sanjay Dutt's parole criticised as 'VIP treatment'

Sanjay Dutt is out of jail again on a parole for 30 days. The actor was spotted at his residence on August 26, 2015.
He was allowed to leave prison as his daughter is having a nose surgery and he wanted to be present for the same.

However, Sanjay Dutt has been in the past for the number of breaks he gets in his prison term. Sanjay has left the prison on paroles and leaves of furlough numerous times over the last two years. This is reportedly being termed as VIP treatment by several quarters, who insist that other inmates don't get the same leniency.
Sanjay was found guilty in 2013 of acquiring illegal weapons from those involved in the 1993 attacks in Mumbai. He was sentenced to six years in jail in 2007. He had served 18 months but then was out on bail, fighting the conviction until a court ordered him back to jail in Pune in March, 2013.
