Has Karan Johar modified 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' story?

Reports have it that Karan Johar, the captain of 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', a ship that is running on choppy waters, is seriously considering tweaking the story of his film.

And why not? When you are dealing with a budget running into about Rs 50 Cr, you do all you can to ensure you have a handsome Return on Investment.
Reportedly in the film's original script Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played young Muslim women from Pakistan.Perhaps in the wake of the current situation, the makers feel that sticking to the story in its original form might not be the smartest idea.
