5 reasons why Drashti Dhami and Arjun Bijlani's Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil looks promising

Ekta Kapoor's new offering Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil starring Drashti Dhami and Arjun Bijlani is all set to premiere on November 7. The Star Plus show has already created buzz amongst the fans of the actors and we tell you 5 reasons that make it worth the wait:
2/6

Fresh presentation

The story, which is rumoured to have been inspired by SRK starrer Pardes, brings together an all new pairing (Drashti Dhami will be seen with Arjun Bijlani for the first time) and scenic foreign locales. Moreover, trailers of the show have the feel of a Yash Raj Film, owing to its look, scale and grandeur.

Arjun Bijlani and Drashti Dhami's return to TV

Not just the fact that the actors are cast together for the first time, but also that they are coming back to the small screen after a long hiatus. This will be Arjun Bijlani's first fiction show after Naagin Season 1 and Drashti's after Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani.
4/6

Picturesque locations

Most of the small screen shows are heading to foreign countries to shoot important sequences, a trend on television that is fast catching up. But this show seems to have its plot set majorly in Europe. Hence, the viewers can expect visual treat in the form of scenic locations and breathtaking views.
5/6

Ekta's 'hatke' (different) attempt

The queen of saas-bahu sagas is ruling the roost now with her supernatural thrillers. Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil comes as a refreshing break from both the genres. What the romantic love story has to offer, however, will unfold later and remains to be seen.
6/6

The romantic plot

How it is usually lost in television serials, and hence, explored so little. Romance on TV mostly blooms in a family set up and its existence is rarely shown outside of it. Once the couple is married, kitchen politics and saas-bahu drama takes over romance between the lead pair. This show looks different and progressive. And we can only hope it is not deduced to one we have described above.
