Eisha Singh, who won many hearts with her
Bigg Boss journey, recently opened up about her life in a podcast with Paras Chhabra. She shared how she first came to Mumbai from Indore to fulfil her dreams. The actress also revealed quitting non-vegetarian food five years ago along with her mom and brother.
She said, “I used to eat non-vegetarian food. I used to eat non-veg a lot. One day, it was
Mahashivratri. Everyone used to say that I loved non-veg. I used to have it in my meals. That day, I was watching everything because until then, I had never observed Mahashivratri. After that, I didn’t feel like eating non-veg. I was like, ‘What’s this?’ It just didn’t feel right.”
Eisha further added, “I thought it must be a phase. It happens, right? I had eaten non-veg for so long. Then I went to Kashmir for a shoot, and even there, I didn’t feel like eating non-veg. I took a bite but didn’t feel like eating it. I said, ‘I don’t know what it is.’ I tried again after some time, but today it’s been five years and I haven’t eaten non-veg. I just don’t feel like it from my heart. I don’t know what it is. It’s not like someone stopped me.
My mom also stopped eating non-veg, and my brother did too. No one knows why.”
The actress also revealed that her dream of becoming an actor began during childhood while growing up with her grandparents in Bhopal. Her grandmother loved watching television shows, and Eisha became fascinated with behind-the-scenes interviews and actors’ lives. “I used to think this must be so much fun. I want to do this too,” she recalled.
The actress shared that she would recreate movie scenes with her doll after watching films. She especially remembered recreating scenes from Vivah. As she grew older, Eisha became sure that acting was her dream career.
“I used to think maybe I could at least get a one- or two-day role in shows like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” she shared.
