The E-Ray is powered by a combination of the 6.2-litre V8 engine and an electric motor on the front axle. It is also equipped with a 1.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that powers the electric motor. This gives the hybrid car a combined output of 655 horsepower and 678 Nm of peak torque.

Performance-wise, the Corvette E-Ray can achieve 97 kmph from a standstill in just 2.5 seconds and has its top speed limited to 289 kmph. The hybrid powertrain employed in this car gives it extra power for acceleration. It is also able to drive on electric power alone for about 6 km but since the battery is small, it recharged quickly.
