Shweta Tripathi attends Hans Zimmer perform live in Amsterdam

Actor Shweta Tripathi recently travelled to Amsterdam to fulfil a long-cherished wish — attending a live concert by legendary composer Hans Zimmer.
A self-confessed cinema aficionado, Tripathi says film music has always played a vital role in how she experiences and prepares for storytelling. Zimmer’s iconic scores — from Dune to Interstellar and The Dark Knight — have been a constant emotional reference point for her over the years.
“His music stays with you long after the film ends,” she shared, adding that it helps her understand emotion, silence and inner conflict as an actor. Watching Zimmer perform live, she said, was a deeply immersive and rejuvenating experience.
The trip also offered a rare pause from routine. “I’m coming back with a renewed perspective,” Tripathi noted, calling the experience something intangible yet impactful — a rhythm and feeling that will inevitably find its way into her work.
