New rules! UPI daily transaction limit raised to Rs 5 lakh for select categories - check who benefits

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has increased UPI transaction limits for specific categories, effective September 15. Tax payments, government e-marketplaces, and B2B transactions now have a Rs 5 lakh per-transaction limit. Insurance premiums and capital markets gain a Rs 10 lakh daily limit, while peer-to-peer payments remain unchanged.
