Two separate venues for pharma industry expos in Delhi-NCR
CPHI India and PMEC India will hold their pharmaceutical industry expos in two venues across Delhi-NCR this year, in an expansion aimed at accommodating the rapid growth of the country's pharma ecosystem, the organisers said.
Organised by Informa Markets in India, the 19th edition of the event will be divided over two venues with partially overlapping schedules to enable greater business engagement and specialised networking opportunities, they said.
CPHI India will be organised from November 23-25 at Yashobhoomi, while PMEC India will take place from November 24-26 at India Expo Mart.
The organisers said the four-day engagement window would provide stakeholders greater flexibility and create expanded opportunities for collaboration across the pharmaceutical value chain.
"The decision to expand CPHI and PMEC India into a two-venue format was driven by research and clear industry feedback," said Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director of Informa Markets in India.
"Visitors needed more time, exhibitors needed more space, and both were seeking deeper, more effective engagement. By removing size constraints and creating focused, specialised platforms, we are enabling innovation across the entire pharmaceutical value chain," he said.
The organisers said the separation of ingredients and formulations from machinery and manufacturing technologies would allow participants to connect more directly with targeted partners, buyers and solution providers.
India already supplies over 20 per cent of global generic medicines and is rapidly expanding its footprint in advanced therapies, biotechnology, and contract manufacturing. As global regulatory expectations rise and supply chains interconnect, high-quality, specialised engagement is no longer optional, it is critical, organisers said in a statement.
CPHI India will focus on pharmaceutical ingredients, APIs, formulations and associated services, catering to API and excipient manufacturers, finished dosage producers, CROs, CDMOs and biotech firms, it said.
PMEC India, meanwhile, will serve as a dedicated platform for pharmaceutical machinery, processing, packaging, laboratory equipment, automation and AI-led manufacturing technologies aligned with the "Make in India" vision, the statement said.
Rahul Deshpande, Senior Group Director at Informa Markets in India, said the expansion would strengthen the pharmaceutical ecosystem by giving both platforms "the focus and scale they need to grow, while remaining part of one integrated value-chain platform."
