SYDNEY: Australia's Qantas Airways on Friday offered refunds to passengers who want to cancel bookings to Britain following the wave of bombings in London's transport system. The airline said any ticket for travel to and from Britain issued before Thursday's attacks on London's public transport could be deferred or cancelled without penalty. "So far there is no notable trend in ticket cancelations, but it is still too early to tell," Juliette Ryalls, a Qantas spokeswoman, said.
Qantas executive general manager John Borghetti said all flights were operating as normal, and there had been no disruption. Four flights had departed London's Heathrow airport since the blasts, with flights due to arrive in Perth and Sydney later Friday.
