Celebrity duos we want to take up the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

People all around the world have been taking up the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and donating to the worthy cause along the way. While the trend picked up momentum when Hollywood celebs posted their videos after taking the challenge, a lot of Bollywood celebs too made news when they posted their videos while taking the challenge for the worthy cause. We wonder when the challenge will reach our TV celebs. Here is our list of TV celebs who we would love to take up the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Read on...

Gutthi & Kapil Sharma: Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover have always made headlines with their on and off personal and professional relationship. The two were a hit pair on 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' until Sunil aka Gutthi walked away to host his own show 'Mad In India'. While the show failed to strike a chord with the audiences, Sunil went back to Kapil Sharma's show eventually. Now that the two have finally buried their hatchet, it would be nice if they came together for a worthy cause. It would be good to see both Sunil and Kapil take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and donate generously to the cause. Maybe they can take turns to pour icy cold water on top of each other. We wonder who the duo will nominate for the challenge next?

Ram Kapoor & Sakshi Tanwar: They were the most popular middle aged couple on Indian television until recently. Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar played husband and wife in Ekta Kapoor's 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain' and their performance and chemistry was lauded by their fans. While the show came to an end a while back, Ram and Priya from the show became a big hit. Now that we are talking about the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, it would be a treat for all Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar fans if they take up the challenge together. It will be a sight to see one of television's favourite couple to take up the challenge and donate generously to the cause.

Kushal Tandon & Gauahar Khan: After 'Bigg Boss' Season 7, Gauahar Khan and Kushal Tandon became one of television's most famous celebrity couples. The two were seen romancing in the 'Bigg Boss' house and confessed to their relationship in front of the cameras there itself. Unlike some other couples who part ways after coming out of the famous reality show, Kushal and Gauahar continued with their relationship. Since the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has become the talk of the town now, it would be really cool to see television's famous real life couple take it up together. Also, we want to know whether they will nominate anyone of their 'Bigg Boss' friends to do it next?

Tanisha Mukerji and Armaan Kohli: Kajol's baby sister Tanishaa Mukerji and actor Armaan Kohli were rumoured to be an item in 'Bigg Boss' Season 7’. The rumoured couple were intimate in front of the various cameras within the infamous house, but never admitted it to their relationship publicly after the show got over. While the paparazzi spotted the two together in Dubai as well, the two play the 'good friends' game with the media. Since the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has already taken Bollywood by storm, it would not be far away when Tanishaa and Armaan are challenged by someone for the same. We would love to see Tanishaa and Armaan do the Ice Bucket Challenge together. Considering they have already performed so many tasks together for 'Bigg boss 7', this wouldn't be too difficult for them.

Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma: One of the most popular shows on television currently, Zee TV's 'Jodha Akbar' has made news for various reasons in the past. While the show is very popular with the masses, apparently the lead pair on the show Rajat Tokas who plays Akbar and Paridhi Sharma who plays Jodha aren't the best of friends off-screen. If gossip mills are anything to go by, then the two don't see eye to eye once the camera stops rolling. Since the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has become a trend amongst celebrities, we would like to see our very own Jodha and Akbar to take it up too. While the challenge and the donations that they will make for a good cause are a big incentive in itself, the fact that they should do the task together may quieten the rumours for a while. We hope someone challenges the azeemo shaan Shahenshah and his beloved Begum for the same.

KRK and Dolly Bindra: Kamal R Khan may consider others as '2 rupees person' but for once we would want to see him do something good for a cause rather than demeaning people on social media. A contestant of 'Bigg Boss', Kamal R Khan gained popularity with his anger outbursts in the show. Not just that, the actor continued to mock other celebrities via his Twitter account and take constant digs at them. Another person who we would want to take up the challenge along with KRK is none other than TV's scream queen Dolly Bindra. Dolly Bindra's stint in the 'Bigg Boss' house was also limited to fighting and abusing fellow contestants and together we think they will be a treat to watch as they pour buckets of icy cold water on top of each other. However, we hope KRK sheds a little more than just 'two rupees' for the donation.

Karan Singh Grover & Jennifer Winget: Indian television's sweetheart couple – Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget are a sight together. The actor couple who worked with each other on the popular TV show 'Dill Mill Gayye' fell in love and got married soon after. The head-over-heels in love couple are popular for their onscreen and off-screen antics. Since we haven't seen the couple off late together on television, it would be a treat for all their fans if they come together for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Considering this is for a good cause, we hope someone nominates this good looking couple for the challenge.

Mohit Rania & Mouni Roy: Television's poster boy Mohit Raina plays Mahadev in the very popular show 'Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev'. The actor kissed success like no other once the show went on air. Mouni Roy on the other hand is another TV actress who is currently seen participating in dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa'. Together the two are rumoured to be in a relationship with each other, with the paparazzi reporting about their alleged affair on and off. While they may not have given a clear answer to the press about their relationship status, the two are constantly linked to each other. It would be great if TV's Mahadev and Sati came together for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Also since they are both so popular amongst the people, it would be a good idea to help spread awareness about the disease.

Sushant Singh Rajput & Ankita Lokhande: Sushant Singh Rajput and girlfriend Ankita Lokhande were seen together in Ekta Kapoor's popular TV show 'Pavitra Rishta'. Sushant was the male lead of the show until he left the same to try his luck in films. While his girlfriend and live-in partner Ankita Lokhande still entertains audiences daily with her stint on the same show, Sushant has secured a place in Bollywood with films like 'Kai Po Che' and 'Shuddh Desi Romance'. While we don't see the popular TV couple re-uniting on screen in the recent future, it would be great if the two come together for a good cause. We would love to see Sushant and Ankita take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge together and create awareness about the disease amongst the people.

Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta: TV's sweetheart couple Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta make news all the time. The real life couple recently made news for their big fat Indian wedding. While the couple constantly keep their fans updated with their latest pictures together, we think the two won't mind using social media for a good cause. Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta should be challenged by someone to take part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. And when they do, we hope the couple takes up the challenge together. It would be fun to watch the actor couple to douse each other with icy cold water and it would be even better if they urge their fans to learn more about the disease and donate generously to the same.
