To further highlight our cause, we will hold a Kisan Panchayat in Kurukshetra on June 12.”
Highlighting the farmers' demand for MSP, Tikait said, “Those farmers are asking for MSP, their sunflower crops should be purchased at 64 kg by the government. There should be a guarantee law regarding MSP.”
He added, “There will be a widespread movement on MSP. All farmers from across the country should join this movement. Agitating and asking for the right price for our crops is not treason. Government should implement the guarantee law and fulfil the promises made in their manifesto, including the implementation of Swami Rangnathan's report.”
