Blackberry Messenger (BBM) has resurfaced in terror networks in Jammu and Kashmir, with a Lashkar-e-Taiba operative revealing its use alongside other secure apps like Element, Threema, and Dust. The National Investigation Agency is now investigating the use of these platforms by terrorists to coordinate activities.
Twin explosions in Punjab's Jalandhar and Amritsar have sparked political debate, with former Union minister Farooq Abdullah downplaying the incidents and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann accusing the BJP of fear-mongering. The NIA is assisting in the investigation of the blasts, which caused property damage but no casualties.
