20-year-old stabbed to death

A 20-year-old youth was stabbed to death by an unidentified assailant in Amraiwadi on Sunday afternoon. Police identified the deceased as Sachin Nadia, a resident of Shaktinagar, Bhilwada.

AHMEDABAD: A 20-year-old youth was stabbed to death by an unidentified assailant in Amraiwadi on Sunday afternoon. Police identified the deceased as Sachin Nadia, a resident of Shaktinagar, Bhilwada.
The incident occurred when Sachin was passing by Udaynagar crossroads accompanied by his cousin Rohit Adliyal. "The assailant approached him and stabbed him with a knife.

Sachin was stabbed in his neck and chest. He was rushed to LG Hospital where he died in the evening," said an official from Amraiwadi police station where the case has been registered.
Meanwhile a 31-year-old woman from Sabarmati has filed a complaint with Sabarmati police against a man for raping and blackmailing her. The woman accused one Shailesh Shah of having physical relationship with her after promising her marriage which he never kept.
"The victim alleged that since 2009, Shailesh had taken her to various places in and around Ahmedabad and had raped her. When she protested, he blackmailed her with photos and video clips of their intimate moments. She has also charged Shailesh's sister-in-law for being his partner in the crime," said a Sabarmati police official.
