Bio-invest event ahead of VGGIS

GANDHINAGAR: In run-up to the Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors' Summit (VGGIS) 2015, department of science and technology, government of Gujarat and Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM) in coordination with Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE), Industrial Extension Bureau (iNDEXTb) and KPMG are organizing an event on "Bio-Invest in Gujarat: Reshaping human life through Biotechnology" on December 6 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar.
Govindbhai Patel, minister of state, energy and petrochemicals, science and technology, will be inaugurating the event. Other eminent personalities include Prof Hans Sonderland, director, Global Strategic Alliance, Finland and Prof Dr John Burns, Clinical Genetics, Newcastle University.
The event will have presence of important national level policy planners like S Raghavan, IFS, joint secretary, department of biotechnology, government of India, H K Mittal, head of National Science and Technology Development Board and Dr K C Bansal, director, National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, ICAR, government of India.
