Gujarat Congress launches Nyay Yatra

GANDHINAGAR: Gujarat Congress started a statewide ‘Nyay Yatra’to reach out to coronavirus (Covid-19) victim families from Monday. The party has planned to reach out to all those families who have lost their family members to Covid-19 during the first and second wave of the pandemic.
Amit Chavda, state Congress president, while launching the yatra said, “Congress has planned to meet all families of the Covid-19 victims of the state in next two months, reaching out to all villages.We are demanding Rs 4 lakh compensation for the families of those who lost their lives, and job for one person in the family.”
“Government needs to register culpable homicide case against those who siphoned off funds meant for Covid patients, and those who played with lives of people through fake drugs.” Chavda added.
Congress also announced launching of a virtual memorial for the Covid-19 victims of the state.
