Ahmedabad: Gujarat high court on Monday issued notices to the charity commissioners in Ahmedabad and assistant charity commissioners of Vadodara and Panchmahals over a petition complaining about alleged irregularities by trustees in governing the Pavagadh Shaktipith temple.
The petitioner, Kailash Thakor, sought HC directions to charity commissioners to conduct an inquiry into the affairs of the temple trust, when only 475 kg of silver was found to be pure after melting 638 kg of silver at the temple.

The petitioner contended that he has made a complaint before the authorities that the suspected irregularities on the part of trustees needed to be probed.
