Two suicides, two bodies found in Ajmer within 24hrs

Ajmer: Two men in their thirties, including a CRPF constable, allegedly hanged themselves at their residences, while a newlywed bride allegedly fell to death from the seventh floor of her apartment and the body of a businessman was found floating in a pond, in four separate cases occuring within 24 hours in Ajmer. A 34-year-old CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) constable from Manipur, posted at group centre 2, allegedly hanged himself in his residential quarters Sunday night, police at Ganj station said. The body was taken to JLN hospital and handed over to relatives after postmortem. The deceased, Amarjeet Singh, had been posted at the CRPF group centre 2 for the past four years and was residing in quarters within the campus. Police said no suicide note was found in the residential quarters or in the clothes of the deceased. His relatives, who reside in Assam, were informed and they reached Ajmer to take the body for last rites.A 35-year-old painter who lived in Palbichla area allegedly hanged himself in his room on Monday. Alwar Gate police sent the body for postmortem. The deceased, Manish Raiger, resided with his wife and two children. No suicide note was found, police said.A 30-year-old newlywed bride from Jaipur allegedly fell from the 7th floor of an apartment building in Ajmer where she had come to live just the day before, on Sunday, with her husband, Raunak Bansal, 32. According to police, the wedding had taken place in Jaipur on Saturday and on Monday there was some puja in the apartment flat for which relatives had gathered. Komal told her husband that she wanted to take a walk on the terrace on the 7th floor. After some time, her body was found lying on the ground. Residents near Diggi pond on Monday informed police of a body floating in the local pond. Clock Tower police retrieved the body, which was later identified as that of Rajesh Dilwani, 38, a businessman who lived at Foisagar road.
