Principal of Motilal Nehru Medical College inspects food quality standards
Prayagraj: Dr AK Verma, principal of Motilal Nehru Medical College and Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital, conducted a surprise inspection to assess the quality of food being served to patients admitted to the hospital.
During the inspection, he personally tasted the food prepared for the patients to verify its quality, hygiene, and nutritional value. Dr Verma also scrutinized the food distribution system, the cleanliness of the kitchen, and the quality of the meals being provided to the patients.
He, however, issued a set of directives to the concerned officials to ensure that patients are provided with fresh, nutritious, and high-quality food in strict adherence to prescribed standards, emphasizing that no negligence of any kind would be tolerated in this regard.
Dr Verma said that, alongside medical treatment, a balanced and high-quality diet plays a crucial role in the speedy recovery of patients. Therefore, the food management system will be monitored regularly, and there will be absolutely no compromise on quality.
