Andhra Pradesh: First of its kind Navaratnalu temple showcasing government welfare schemes built at Srikalahasti

TIRUPATI: Navartnala Alayam, the first of its kind museum showcasing the state government's flagship welfare schemes - Navaratnalu, is all set to be inaugurated at Srikalahasti in Chittoor district on Monday.
The unique structure has a museum, an Ayina Mahal and a Navaratnalu temple, which is artistic excellence moulded by several experts from the neighbouring States of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
Speaking to TOI, Srikalahasti legislator Biyyapu Madhu Sudhan Reddy says uplifting the downtrodden and people below the poverty line through the Navaratnalu flagship programme is a dream put into action by chief minsiter YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who has outperformed several chief ministers in the country through his novel welfare measures that have impacted the lives of over 5.65 crore beneficiaries across the state.
"My effort as a staunch follower of CM Jagan is to showcase these welfare measures of the state government in a novel way before the people of Andhra Pradesh. The Navaratnalu scheme has positively impacted the lives of many in the State who revere these schemes with great devotion. Hence, it stuck to me to construct the temple called the Navaratnalu Nilayam in the temple town of Srikalahasti. And, I'm confident that the Navaratnalu Nilayam dedicated to the flagship welfare schemes of AP government will emerge as one more tourist spot near Srikalahasti", he said.
This temple dedicated to the founder of the Navaratnalu scheme - Jaganmohan Reddy will be formally inaugurated by deputy CM K Narayana Swamy along with state panchayat raj minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and his son Rajampeta MP PV Midhun Reddy on Monday.
On the sidelines of the inauguration of the Navaratnalu temple, Jagananna housing colony layout with nearly 2000 beneficiaries on board will be inaugurated on Monday.
