Baby girl thrashed to death by father

KAKINADA: In another brutal incident towards a baby girl, a father thrashed the baby to death as the mother of the baby has rejected his inhumane thought of selling the baby. This incident took place in Kakinada district and the police have arrested the accused.
According to Kakinada One Town Inspector M Naga Durga Rao, one Chekka Bhavani resident of Jagannadha Puram in Kakinada lost husband few years back and she is in line-in relationship with another man, Ketha Siva Mani for the last four years.
They had a boy couple of years back and Siva Mani allegedly sold the boy. They are blessed with a baby girl 34 days back. Since then, Siva Mani and Bhavani had heated arguments over the baby.
On Tuesday night, the husband told his wife that he wanted to sell the baby. As Bhavani rejected his plan, he thrashed he baby to the wall and the baby fell unconscious.
The baby was shifted to GGH, Kakinada where she succumbed to injuries while getting treatment.
