TIRUPATI: The joy of a young resident of Puchakayalamada in Kurnool district knew bounds after he received an electric auto presented to him by chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday.
During his visit to Puchakayalamada, Naidu took part in the NTR Bharosa pension distribution programme and also held a Praja Vedika programme, during which he interacted with various local people and it was during this interaction that the Chief minister promised to provide an electric autorickshaw to an elderly woman Talari Gangamma's son
Ashok.
Within 24 hours of his visit to Puchakayalamada, Naidu fulfilled his promise as the local
TDP MLA KE Shyam Babu and district collector Ranjit Basha presented Ashok a brand new electric autorickshaw worth Rs.3.8 lakh on Wednesday.
Similarly, the chief minister also fulfilled his another promise of extending financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh to a woman identified as
Kavitha to meet her bedridden husband's medical expenses.
Both Ashok and Kavitha thanked Chief minister for addressing their grievances and extending support immediately.
