Mumbai to Nanded Vande Bharat late by 90 minutes
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Central Railway's Mumbai–Nanded Vande Bharat Express departed nearly an hour and a half behind schedule on Tuesday afternoon, amid recent instances of key trains running late. The CSMT Mumbai–Nanded Vande Bharat was scheduled to leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 1.10 pm, but eventually departed at 2.30 pm. Railway authorities attributed the delay to the unavailability of a pairing rake."To maximise utility, one rake is used during opposite direction journeys of the Nanded–CSMT Mumbai–Nanded Vande Bharat Express. The unavailability of the rake for the journey from Mumbai to Nanded was attributed to maintenance and cleanliness, among other factors, by local staff," a railway official from the South Central Railway (SCR) said. Railway activist Raj Somani stressed that punctuality of premium services must be ensured under all circumstances.
