Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has again recorded a maximum of 43.4°C temperature on Monday, which was the same temperature it registered on April 26. This is the highest maximum temperature in the past three years, showed data by India Meteorological Department (IMD).Among other Marathwada cities, Parbhani registered a maximum of 43.2°C.The Met office warned of a heat wave condition for next 48-hours, with maximum temperature possibly reaching 45°C.Many citizens said the rise in mercury level was palpable. "I was on the field and sweating profusely during afternoon hours," said rickshaw driver Vishal Narware.The relative humidity in the city air was 31% by 8.30am and recorded 15% by 5.30 pm, showed IMD data.In the wake of the heat wave warning for the next two days, disaster management department authorities have advised caution."Any form of physical labour should be avoided during the peak summer period. Covering ears and head with white cotton clothes is highly recommended," District disaster management officer for Nanded, Kishor Kurhe Patil said.
