Uttar Pradesh: MoS Ajay Mishra Teni's nephew dies after tree falls on him

BAREILLY: Union minister of state for home Ajay Mishra Teni's nephew, 40-year-old Achin Mishra, died after a large tree fell on him while he was driving his bike home to Banbeerpur village from Shardanagar in UP's Lakhimpur Kheri district.
The tree was uprooted when heavy wind hit the district around 6 pm on Wednesday. By the time locals carried out a rescue operation, Achin was dead.His body was handed over to the family after an autopsy. Achin's father Dinesh Chandra Mishra, MoS Teni's elder brother, is the former village head of Banbeerpur village.
According to the police, Achin had gone to Lakhimpur city for some work on his bike. "After the incident, it took SOME time to carry out the rescue operation as the tree was large and could not be removed manually," cops said. Circle officer Nighasan Subodh Kumar Jaiswal said, "The victim was wearing a helmet but it didn't save him as the tree was large. It fell on his shoulder and he was crushed to death. Since the accident was a result of a natural disaster, no FIR has been registered."
