Youth held for killing lover’s husband in Kheri

Bareilly: A 25-year-old youth, who shot dead a 35-year-old man on Tuesday night, was arrested in Murtaza Ali Nagar village under Mohammadi police station of Lakhimpur Kheri district on Wednesday.
Police said when the youth went to meet the woman, her husband woke up and he shot him dead.
According to police, Pushe (25), a labourer, had gone to meet Shrimati on Tuesday night when her husband Shiv Prakash and children were sleeping.However, as he entered the house, Prakash woke up.
Sanjay Tyagi, station house officer (SHO), Mohammadi police station, said, “We have booked Pushe under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), while Shrimati has been booked under IPC section 120B (whosoever is party to criminal conspiracy to commit an offence punishable with death). We have arrested Pushe.”
