BENGALURU: Central Crime Branch sleuths on Sunday pasted a notice on former mayor
Sampath Raj’s residence, directing him appear before the investigation officer in a case related to the attack on MLA Akhanda Srinivasamurthy’s house on August 11.
BR Venugopal, assistant commissioner of police (anti-terror squad, CCB), is investigating the case. He reached Sampath Raj’s Pulikeshinagar residence at noon, found the door locked and pasted the notice
(in pic) .CCB police have named Sampath Raj as the key conspirator in the east Bengaluru riots. He was issued a notice and directed to appear for probe in October first week. But he was admitted to a hospital for Covid-19 infection.
