Film star Ambarish to lead farmers' stir

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">BANGALORE: Mandya Congress MP and film star Ambarish will jump into the fray and lead the Cauvery agitation in the district from Friday.<br />Ambarish told <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">The Times of India </span>here on Thursday: ``It does not matter if the state government is run by my party, Congress.The release of water is injustice done to the people of Mandya by both the Supreme Court and the state government. We have already forgotten water for our crop, but now they are taking away our drinking water, which we will not allow.''''<br />Ambarish said he will go in a protest procession in Mandya on Friday to submit a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner. ``After that, I will go to every judge in our Karnataka High Court and ask them to come and see for themselves the drought in Mandya. I will ask them to report the real situation to the Supreme Court judges,'''' he added.</div> </div>
