BENGALURU: Karnataka clinched the limited overs series against Namibia with a match to spare at the Wanderers Cricket Ground, Windhoek, on Friday. With a five-wicket win in the fourth outing, Karnataka took a 3-1 lead in the five-match series.
Karnataka rode on useful contributions from most batters and an all-round performance from Nikin Jose. The 22-year-old scored 56 runs after claiming two wickets with his off-spin.
Invited to bat, the hosts’ charge was led by skipper Jan Frylinck, who struck a 124-ball 109 (8x4; 3x6) to guide his team to 253/7.
