bangalore: the government has appointed justice m. jagannadha rao as chairman of the sixteenth law commission of india. he succeeds justice b.p. jeevan reddy, who resigned last month. the other two members of the commission are: dr. n.m. ghatate and t.k. vishwanathan. justice jagannadha rao has rendered several important judgements relating to civil laws, administrative law, constitutional law, service law and the law of environment.
