Unidentified persons murdered a bank's pigmy collector on Chikka Tirupati Road in Whitefield after robbing cash from him.

BANGALORE: Unidentified persons murdered a bank's pigmy collector on Chikka Tirupati Road between Doddanur and Bodhanavasalli in Whitefield on Monday night after robbing cash from him.
The deceased has been identified as Dhanraj, a college student, who was into pigmy collection along with his father.
Dhanraj, a native of Devanagundi, had gone for collection to surrounding villages after his father, Venkatesh asked him to go.

He was killed while returning home from surrounding villages.
Man drowns: A physically-handicapped person identified as Srinivas was found drowned in a well at Hennur's K Narayanapura on Tuesday.

Drug dealer held: The City Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths arrested a drug dealer identified as Apsar, resident of Chikmagalur on J C Road and recovered 1.5 kg ganja on Monday.
Arrested for prostitution: Byapapnahalli police have arrested seven persons including three men on charges of prostitution on Monday. According to the police, the accused were arrested from Sir C V Raman Nagar.
