BANGALORE: Unidentified persons murdered a bank's pigmy collector on Chikka Tirupati Road between Doddanur and Bodhanavasalli in Whitefield on Monday night after robbing cash from him. The deceased has been identified as Dhanraj, a college student, who was into pigmy collection along with his father. Dhanraj, a native of Devanagundi, had gone for collection to surrounding villages after his father, Venkatesh asked him to go.
He was killed while returning home from surrounding villages.
