Stay on plea against Ashoka extended

BANGALORE: The HC has extended till Thursday the stay order with respect to the March 1 and March 24 orders of special Lokayukta court in taking cognizance of the private complaint registered against home minister R Ashoka and also directing the Lokayukta police to inquire the matter respectively.
RTI activist M Manjunath in his complaint before the Lokayukta court had alleged that the minister had "illegally denotified" 23 guntas (little over half an acre) of land in Lottegollahalli which was earlier acquired by BDA for formation of Raj Mahal Vilas Layout and registered the same in his favour.
