Barwani to be model for tribal welfare plans

BHOPAL: Tribal welfare minister and in-charge of Barwani district Kunwar Vijay Shah said that the tribal-dominant Barwani district will be developed as a model for best implementation of tribal welfare schemes.
He laid emphasis on extending benefits of government schemes to needy people in time. Kunwar Shah was addressing a meeting of departmental officers at Barwani.Barwani MLA Prem Singh Patel was also present on the occasion.
In-charge minister Kunwar Shah said that the CCTV cameras will be installed at girls’ hostels in the district for maintaining constant watch.
He asked the officers that the responsibility of supplying edible items to hostels of reserved sections should be entrusted to people belonging to these sections so that they can get employment.
He also directed to install thumb impression machines in selected hostels. Kunwar Shah said that Vanya Radio will soon be started in tribal-dominant Barwani district. He directed officers to select a place for this.
