Bhopal: Ahead of the Durga Utsav/Navratri festivities, Bhopal police commissioner Harinarayanchari Mishra has emphasised the mandatory installation of CCTVs at all Durga pandals and Garba venues across the city. The directive was issued during a joint meeting of police, administrative officials, and dignitaries/members of various committees held at the commissioner's office on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by prominent officials, including additional police commissioners Awadhesh Goswami and Pankaj Shrivastava, as well as all the DCPs and SHOs. Event organisers, Bhopal City Qazi Syed Mushtaq Ali Nadvi, representatives from the Hindu Utsav Samiti, Peace Committee, Garba and Ram Baraat organisers, along with DJ operators and municipal officers, were also present.
