Bhopal's Varsha wins bronze in Asiad

BHOPAL: Varsha Varman, a resident of Bhopal won bronze medal in the Asian Games at Incheon, South Korea on Thursday.
Talking to TOI, Varsha's father Vinay Varman said it is great moment for him. "I was expecting medal from her. She has made me proud by touching the podium in," Varman said. He is senior bureaucrat in MP forest department.
Varman spoke to her daughter after completing the event."She is emotionally strong. She told me that it was beginning for her to bring laurels to the country," he said.
Varsha has been a consistent performer in national championships. She has been regular member of indian shooting team abd represented in various international championships.
